LNG Value Ltd was launched in 2014 by Max Vauthier, LNG expert with over ten years of experience in the LNG industry.

The rapid growth of flexible LNG trades worldwide and the increasing interest in LNG as an alternative source of gas supply is creating major trading and asset opportunities across the entire value chain.

LNG Value Ltd is in a position to assist its clients and partners to anticipate the LNG market developments, to identify the most attractive opportunities and to implement high-returns trading and investment strategies.

As Managing Partner of LNG Brokers between 2003 and 2014, Max Vauthier has assisted a large range of clients from across the LNG value chain.  Past mandates include: 

• Advisory and brokerage services with several large European industrial customers for sourcing LNG on medium/long-term basis

• Advisory services for a developer of a large LNG importing terminal in Europe

• Advisory services for identifying and screening industrial LNG-related acquisition targets for a large Engineering Company

• Expert services to the EU Commission for the preparation of a 2020 Master Plan related to the deployment of small-scale LNG distribution and bunkering in the Mediterranean (COSTA project)

• Advisory services for a North American Company entering the LNG sector

• Assisting an Energy group in negotiating a Joint Venture agreement with a large LNG shipowner for a bid to a long-term charterer

• Acting as LNG expert witness in the English High Court in relation to the valuation of LNG tankers

• Brokerage mandates for multiple spot / short term LNG purchase and sale transactions
